The Pantheon looks good no matter where you see it from. The Dome is visible in many different parts of Paris. Instead of going for the standard shot of Le Pantheon, we decided to take it from a different angle and in fact, a different arrondissement! The shots below were taken from the 4th district.
There are also some pretty stunning views of the Eiffel Tower from Le Pantheon, especially at night. The young couple to the left enjoyed a walk home with the stunning Eiffel tower off in the distance.
Le Pantheon
Located in the 5th, Le Pantheon is a must see when you visit Paris. Construction was completed around 1790 on the site of an old church. The facade is modeled on the Pantheon in Rome with a beautiful dome that you can see from other parts of the city.

Protecting the honored dead, only national heroes are allowed to lie here, like Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Emilie Zola and Marie Curie amongst others.

As you can see from the 360 Virtual Tour to the right, Le Pantheon looks stunning by day and night. In silence, Le Pantheon just sits there protecting the dead inside whilst all around it life goes on in this busy city.

As we wrote earlier, not only do you get to see the beautiful Pantheon, but you also get some pretty amazing views of the Eiffel Tower from up here.
It is hard not to stand in awe of Le Pantheon when you approach it at night, especially when walking up Rue Soufflot (above).
If you like the EIffel Tower, check out the Batobus Tour over in the Free Guided Tours section. You get to spend a wonderful day hopping on and off the Metro on the Seine not to mention the stunning river views of the Eiffel Tower.
