A Place to Rest
Just behind the Institute de France is a lovely little square named after Gabriel Pierné, a french composer who died in 1937. A great honor considering the Institute de France is responsible for improving the arts and sciences. If you find yourself in the 6th, perhaps after visiting the St-Germain-des-Prés Abbey and many of the shops on the Batobus tour, you will find this place peaceful and relaxing to unwind for 10 minutes.

Enjoy Lunch
As you can see in the 360 photo below, it is definitely worth a visit to sit down and relax for a few minutes. Perhaps a nice place to sit down and enjoy a cold drink and spot of lunch. Make sure you take a look at our St-Germain-des-Prés page for a great 360 photo of the inside of the Abbey, which is not too far from this square.
