Paris Gay Pride 2009
Another party day/night is when the city of Paris hosts the annual Paris Gay Pride, usually attracting a crowd of over 500,000 people. The 2010 Paris Gay Pride departs from Montparnasse around noon, passing through Port Royal, Boulevard St-Michel, Boulevard St-Germain, Pont de Sully, Boulevard Henri IV arriving at Place de la Bastille. It is not all party, the serious side of the march aims to highlight discrimination, HIV prevention etc. You should also check out the events all around the city, especially in Le Marais area, as the partying will go on until late.
