La Fête de la Musique
This free music event, held every year on the summer solstice, sees the streets of Paris turn into a music festival. La Fête de la Musique is not to be missed!
Paris Gay Pride - 25th June 2011
This year the Paris Gay Pride (Marche des Fiertes LGBT) will depart from place du 18 Juin 1940, close to Montparnesse-Bienvenue Metro. Parisbyphoto will be there to capture the fun.
Paris-Nice bike race
The race to the sun began in the late 1930s. This year it started (time trials) in Montfort-l'Amaury, close to Paris. Click on the photo to the right to take a look at the gallery of Paris-Nice bike race photos taken during the time-trials stage.
Tour de France - 2nd July to 24th July 2011
The 98th Tour de France will finish in Paris 24th July 2011. Make sure you are on the Champs Elysées for the finish of this dramatic race. Click on the logo to the left to see our Tour de France Paris Stage Gallery. Check back soon for photos of the 2011 event.
Village du Jasmin
21st to 22nd May L'Hôtel de Ville hosted the Jasmine Village out front to celebrate the new Tunisia. With photo exhibitions, Tunisian crafts, food, tourism etc. being promoted on the day.
Brocante de Printemps
Twice a year, at the ends of May and November, sees rue de Bretagne turned into a 2nd hand market.Fête des Fermes
Held annually on the first Sunday of June, this is a great opportunity to explore some of the farms within easy driving distance of Paris. If you feel like a bit of fresh air and tasting some of the finest and freshest food, click on the goats to find out more!
Dimanche Rouge
A Sunday of experimental performances and shared appetizers and drinks. Sounds like it could be an interesting event to go look at, especially considering it is free:)
Nuit Blanche
Celebrated world wide, this all nighter of art festivals is well worth coming to Paris for. With museums and bars open until the early hours of the morning, mostly for free (museums), it is a great time to soak up some of the Paris culture on offer. October 1st 2011.
